Syntax

Parameters

xblContextHandle   _In_
Type: XblContextHandle
XBOX services context for the local user. xuids   _In_
Type: uint64_t*
Array of XboxUserIDs to append to the existing list of tracked Users. xuidsCount   _In_
Type: size_t

Return value

Type: HRESULT Returns S_OK on success, or an error code on failure. Possible error codes include the following. This list isn’t exhaustive.

Remarks

Updates will be delivered via XblPresenceDevicePresenceChangedHandlers and XblPresenceTitlePresenceChangedHandlers. Note that the set of tracked users can be updated independent from the handlers. Register handlers with XblPresenceAddDevicePresenceChangedHandler and XblPresenceAddTitlePresenceChangedHandler. XSAPI creates and removes the Real-Time Activity (RTA) subscriptions for tracked users. Register title Presence handlers before you track users. Tracking is reference counted. Call XblPresenceStopTrackingUsers once for each successful call to this function for the same user. This function replaces the deprecated XblPresenceSubscribeToDevicePresenceChange function. To replace the deprecated XblPresenceSubscribeToTitlePresenceChange function, also call XblPresenceTrackAdditionalTitles for titles other than the current title.
