SetShapeFiltVolQTarget

Sets the Q (quality) factor target.

Syntax

HRESULT SetShapeFiltVolQTarget(  
         SHAPE_FILTVOL_CONTEXT* context,  
         float qTarget  
)  

Parameters

context _Inout_
Type: SHAPE_FILTVOL_CONTEXT* Pointer to a SHAPE_FILTVOL_CONTEXT object. qTarget
Type: float The Q factor target.

Return value

Type: HRESULT HRESULT success or error code.

Remarks

The Filter/Volume (FLTVOL) block is implemented as a Chamberlin filter. The greater the value of Q, the narrower the bandwidth of the filter. To get the current value of the Q target, use GetShapeFiltVolQTarget. The filtering behavior is designed to be identical to that in XAudio2.
