# Inventory Reads Meter API Description

> Reference list of PlayFab Economy v2 inventory APIs, including GetInventoryItems and store redemption calls, that increment the inventory reads meter.

Inventory reads are the more common than writes and are comparatively inexpensive. The following APIs cause the Economy v2 Inventory reads meter to increment.
