# PFStatisticsIncrementStatisticVersionAsync

> Reference for PFStatisticsIncrementStatisticVersionAsync, a PlayFab Services C API function that increments an entity statistic definition version.

Increment an entity statistic definition version.

## Syntax

HRESULT PFStatisticsIncrementStatisticVersionAsync(  
    PFEntityHandle entityHandle,  
    const PFStatisticsIncrementStatisticVersionRequest* request,  
    XAsyncBlock* async  
)  
```

### Parameters

**`entityHandle`**   PFEntityHandle

PFEntityHandle to use for authentication.

**`request`**   [PFStatisticsIncrementStatisticVersionRequest\*](https://docs.xbox.com/services/playfab/api-references/c/pfstatisticstypes/structs/pfstatisticsincrementstatisticversionrequest.md)

Populated request object.

**`async`**   XAsyncBlock\*\
*Inout*

XAsyncBlock for the async operation.

Type: HRESULT

Result code for this API operation.
