# PFInventoryRedeemAppleAppStoreInventoryItemsAsync

> Redeem inventory items from the Apple App Store for an entity. Available on Windows and iOS; get the result size and result after the async task completes.

Redeem items.

## Syntax

HRESULT PFInventoryRedeemAppleAppStoreInventoryItemsAsync(  
    PFEntityHandle entityHandle,  
    const PFInventoryRedeemAppleAppStoreInventoryItemsRequest* request,  
    XAsyncBlock* async  
)  
```

### Parameters

**`entityHandle`**   PFEntityHandle

PFEntityHandle to use for authentication.

**`request`**   [PFInventoryRedeemAppleAppStoreInventoryItemsRequest\*](https://docs.xbox.com/services/playfab/api-references/c/pfinventorytypes/structs/pfinventoryredeemappleappstoreinventoryitemsrequest.md)

Populated request object.

**`async`**   XAsyncBlock\*\
*Inout*

XAsyncBlock for the async operation.

Type: HRESULT

Result code for this API operation.

## Remarks

This API is available on Windows and iOS. Redeem items from the Apple App Store.
