# PFAccountManagementClientGetPlayFabIDsFromSteamNamesAsync

> Client API that looks up PlayFab IDs for a set of Steam persona names, authenticated with an entity handle. Available on all platforms.

Retrieves the unique PlayFab identifiers for the given set of Steam identifiers. The Steam identifiers are persona names.

## Syntax

HRESULT PFAccountManagementClientGetPlayFabIDsFromSteamNamesAsync(  
    PFEntityHandle entityHandle,  
    const PFAccountManagementGetPlayFabIDsFromSteamNamesRequest* request,  
    XAsyncBlock* async

```

### Parameters

**`entityHandle`**   PFEntityHandle

PFEntityHandle to use for authentication.

**`request`**   [PFAccountManagementGetPlayFabIDsFromSteamNamesRequest\*](https://docs.xbox.com/services/playfab/api-references/c/pfaccountmanagementtypes/structs/pfaccountmanagementgetplayfabidsfromsteamnamesrequest.md)

Populated request object.

**`async`**   XAsyncBlock\*\
*Inout*

XAsyncBlock for the async operation.

Type: HRESULT

Result code for this API operation.
