# DesktopRegistration Element (MicrosoftGame.config)

> MicrosoftGame.config Element - DesktopRegistration

Specifies attributes to use when registering the title on the PC desktop platform.

## Parent

This element's parent is the Game element.

## Requirement

This element is optional and is not required to be set.

## Platform

This element only pertains to PC devices.

## Behavior

* No attributes.
* No default value.
* Allowed values are child elements of:
  * MainPackageDependency
  * ProcessorArchitecture
  * CustomInstallActions
  * ModFolder (DEPRECATED)
  * DisableRegistryWriteVirtualization (DEPRECATED)
  * DisableFilesystemWriteVirtualization (DEPRECATED)
  * EnableWritesToPackageRoot (DEPRECATED)
  * MultiplayerProtocol
  * FileTypeAssociation
