# XblSocialManagerGetLocalUserCount

> XblSocialManagerGetLocalUserCount

Get the number of local users currently tracked by SocialManager.

## Syntax

```cpp theme={null}
size_t XblSocialManagerGetLocalUserCount(  
)  
```

### Parameters

### Return value

Type: size\_t

The number of local users currently tracked by SocialManager.

## Remarks

To add local users to be tracked, call [XblSocialManagerAddLocalUser](https://docs.xbox.com/reference/live/xsapi-c/social_manager_c/functions/xblsocialmanageraddlocaluser.md). To remove local users from being tracked, call [XblSocialManagerRemoveLocalUser](https://docs.xbox.com/reference/live/xsapi-c/social_manager_c/functions/xblsocialmanagerremovelocaluser.md). This function must be called before calling [XblSocialManagerGetLocalUsers](https://docs.xbox.com/reference/live/xsapi-c/social_manager_c/functions/xblsocialmanagergetlocalusers.md).
