# XblPrivacyRemoveMuteListChangedHandler

> XblPrivacyRemoveMuteListChangedHandler

Removes a mute list change handler.

## Syntax

```cpp theme={null}
HRESULT XblPrivacyRemoveMuteListChangedHandler(  
         XblContextHandle xboxLiveContext,  
         XblFunctionContext handlerFunctionContext  
)  
```

### Parameters

*xboxLiveContext*   \_In\_\
Type: [XblContextHandle](https://docs.xbox.com/reference/live/xsapi-c/types_c/handles/xblcontexthandle.md)

An XBOX services context handle created with [XblContextCreateHandle](https://docs.xbox.com/reference/live/xsapi-c/xbox_live_context_c/functions/xblcontextcreatehandle.md).

*handlerFunctionContext*   \_In\_\
Type: XblFunctionContext

Context for the handler to remove.

### Return value

Type: HRESULT

Returns S\_OK on success, or E\_INVALIDARG if *xboxLiveContext* is null.

## Remarks

Call this API only if [XblPrivacyAddMuteListChangedHandler](https://docs.xbox.com/reference/live/xsapi-c/privacy_c/functions/xblprivacyaddmutelistchangedhandler.md) was used to register an event handler.

When you remove the last mute list handler that's registered on this XBOX services context, the context's real-time subscription for the mute list ends. You can call this function from inside the handler.
