# HCGetHttpCallPerformFunction

> HCGetHttpCallPerformFunction

Returns the current HCCallPerformFunction callback which implements the HTTP perform function on the current platform.

## Syntax

```cpp theme={null}
HRESULT HCGetHttpCallPerformFunction(  
         HCCallPerformFunction* performFunc,  
         void** performContext  
)  
```

### Parameters

*performFunc*   \_Out\_\
Type: [HCCallPerformFunction](https://docs.xbox.com/reference/live/httpclient/httpprovider/functions/hccallperformfunction.md)\*

Set to the current HTTP perform function. Returns the default routine if not previously set.

*performContext*   \_Out\_\
Type: void\*\*

The context for the callback.

### Return value

Type: HRESULT

Returns `S_OK` on success, or `E_INVALIDARG` if either parameter is `nullptr`.

## Remarks

This function returns the callback that's currently registered with [HCSetHttpCallPerformFunction](https://docs.xbox.com/reference/live/httpclient/httpprovider/functions/hcsethttpcallperformfunction.md). If no custom callback is registered, it returns the built-in perform function, which a custom callback can forward calls to. Use it along with HCSetHttpCallPerformFunction to build a filter that monitors and modifies all HTTP calls while still using the built-in HTTP implementation. If a custom callback is already registered, the returned function is that custom callback, not the built-in implementation.
