> GetXmaPacketFirstFrameOffsetInBits

This is a helper function for the `XMA2PACKET` structure that returns the first frame offset.

## Syntax

```cpp theme={null}
DWORD GetXmaPacketFirstFrameOffsetInBits(
         const BYTE* pPacket
)
```

### Parameters

*pPacket*   \_In\_bytecount\_(3)\
Type: BYTE\*

Pointer to the packet.

### Return value

Type: DWORD

The first frame offset, in bits.

## Remarks

`GetXmaPacketFirstFrameOffsetInBits` gets the bit offset of the first frame of the XBOX Media Audio (XMA) packet.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Bitfields cannot be read directly on little-endian architectures such as the Intel x86, as they are laid out in big-endian form.
